About Kepa Software
Kepa Software was established in 2020 to develop a ground-breaking SaaS tool that embodied its founder’s hard-won portfolio prioritization knowledge and skill, representing the learnings of a combined seventy years of providing consulting services to large government agencies and commercial organisations.
Kepa Software is the author of AppO, a tool that helps make better business decisions by eliminating emotion and bias while breaking very complex decisions into consumable steps, and using proven science to rank the decision options by relative value to the business. Decisions made using AppO, are always statistically defendable.
Our Founders
Patricia Brennan – With a background in clinical psychology, Patricia has a long history of working in organizational psychology and organizational change. Patricia led change across a large federal government agency prior to leading the organisational change practice in a Tier 1 consultancy and is considered a subject matter expert in organisational change.
Ken Garrard – Ken’s career started in information technology, which grew into I.T. leadership and business transformation and then to broad-based business consulting. Ken also has more than twenty years experience managing large transformation portfolios in very large commercial and government organisations and is considered a thought leader in portfolio prioritisation and the use of multi-criteria decision analysis. Ken’s work has led to AppO embodying an extension to the Analytic Hierarchy Process that allows comparison of investments regardless of the value criteria used.
Both our founders have worked at senior levels in Tier 1 consulting firms providing advice on business transformation and have been recognised for their customer service and their knowledge across all of strategy development, portfolio, program and project management, organisational change and benefits management.
We seek to be a global leader helping enterprises and government to maximise the outcomes of investment decisions by reducing costs, and aligning strategy, portfolio, delivery and operations (through an advanced portfolio optimisation platform).
